DECORATIONS: The Priss Party color scheme is citrus colors. Meaning; yellow, orange and slime green. Suggest that all the little kiddies wear these colors too just for the fun of it. After all, that's what MP does! Rent the 14"X72" banner provided by Miss Priss Clown Entertainment that says; "It's A Party." Put it over the front door to notify people "This is party central!" Balloons by the mailbox are also eyecatching. Use citrus colored crepe paper to drape over the table like a big top effect. For more table decorations - popcorn boxes. Line them with tissue and fill 'em up with snacks. Then, you can use them for each child's party favor treat box. Another cute decoration is to make trapezes out of empty paper towel rolls. Attach crepe paper for the lines and hang them up. Decorate with balloons, crepe paper, smiley faces, hearts and flowers. See Balloon Theme Party for similar decorating ideas. A 24ft. citrus colored pennant is also an available decoration rental.
REFRESHMENTS: Smiley Sunshine Cake- Bake a yellow double-decker round cake mix. Cover it with yellow frosting. Add yellow food coloring to vanilla frosting if you have to. Attach the pointy type waffle cones all around the outer wall of the cake. This serves as the suns' rays. Frost the tops of the cones too. Top off with a great big smile. May use black jelly beans for the eyes and black licorice for the smile.
Beverages: Serve real lemonade. There is no substitute for real. REAL lemonade! Well....unless it's orange-aid.
Foods- Do you remember when you were a kid those little ice cream cups with the flat wooden spoons? Something about them just said fun. They can still be purchased. They also have citrus flavored sherbet in all the right Priss colors.
"Abra-kid-abra have a banana!" Chocolate dipped bananas on a stick rolled in sprinkes. Keep cold.
A nice recipe for the popcorn boxes is popcorn mixed with animal crackers and nuts.

There are'nt any limits to which or how many games we can play. Just remember your time. Adult assistance is requested as sometimes, two games are played at the same time. Prizes are included. The only game that is extra charge is the mini-me pinata. |

GAMES WITH MISS PRISS: Lemon Derby- Each player uses a stick to roll a lemon to the finish line. There's a twist, unlike a ball, a lemon does'nt roll true. Harder to keep on course than you may think! Round two, use an orange. This may be a bit easier.
Chin-to-chin- The object is to pass an orange tucked under the chin from player-player. The first group to pass along-through the whole line WINS! No hands allowed.
Rainbow Toss- Test your skills by tossing golden nugget bags into a pot at the end of the rainbow. Every player WINS a rainbow sticker for playing.
Ring Toss Game- Game of skill. Toss rings onto poles of various distances. Each pole has a prize on top.
Feed Miss Priss, Lollipop Drop- While the child is blindfolded, He/she will attempt to find the opening for Miss Pris's mouth on the board game. Feed her the lollipop, you keep the prize.
Pin the Nose, Mustache on Miss Priss- While blindfolded, the child will attempt to get the target by placing a nose and then a mustache on Miss Priss board game.
Jellybean Guess- Every child gets the chance to guess how many pieces of candy are in a container. Whoever comes closest to the amount WINS the whole container!
It looks just like Miss Priss! We don't beat the heck out of the pinata! Instead, each player is given a cord attached to the pinata. Only one of the cords will release the trap door, thus releasing all of the candy and prizes. The other cords fall away. This pinata comes ready filled for $15.00. (Reusable to Miss Priss.)
EXTRA ACTIVITIES TO MAKE OR DO: Playdough Recipe #1- 1/2 c. peanut butter 3/4-1 c. instant milk 1/4 c. honey Play-tools like cookie cutters, plastic knives, forks and spoons.
Mix together ingredients. May have to add more or less to get the right consistancy. Cover your table and have wiping rags ready since it can be oily. If they stick any of the playdough in their mouths, look at it this way, at least they won't get poisoned to def!
Playdough Recipe #2- 2 c. flower 4 tsp. cream of tarter 4 tsp. oil 1 c. salt 2 c. water 2 tsp. food coloring
Combine dry ingredients in a saucepan. Add oil, water and food coloring. Cook over med. heat stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Store in an air tight container in the fridge. This won't poison them either, but I bet they spit it out!
Playdough Recipe #3- 3 c. flour 2 c. warm water 3 T. oil 2 pkgs kool-aid
Combine everything together. Work it baby work it. Stores pretty well in a sealed container. Personally I would rather eat "Playdough Recipe #1 if I had to eat playdough!
EXTRA GAMES TO PLAY: Clown Relay- At the finishing line, place two similar sets of clown wear such as; big shorts, jacket, a hat and big shoes. In two seperate piles. Divide players into two teams positioning at the starting line. The first member of the team is to run down to a pile, put on all the clothes, run back, strip, tag the next member as he then puts on the clown gear. Thie first team to complete the relay WINS!
Tie A Yellow Ribbon- Hide about 3 doz. 12" pieces of ribbon. Ask the children to search out and tie their pieces together as they find them. The child with the longest ribbon WINS! You may also hide one contrasting color of ribbon to serve as a bonus. Fun to play this game in corresponding theme colors. After the game is over, tie all the ribbons together to form a circle. Place the circle on the ground in preparation for the next game.
Throw a Smile- Players sit on top of the ribbon circle they have just created from the Tie A Yellow Ribbon game. Everybody is to sit very very somberly. No smiling allowed. The first player will grin and grin just as big as they can. Wipe the smile off their face and throw it at another player. (Which supposedly has no smile at all) they catch the smile and smear it on their face. So on and so on...Initiate roll playing, pretend one person is crying and they need a smile, pretend when a smile is thrown it knocks him over. Be creative, pretend they missed. You get it?
Telephone- All the children are sitting in a circle. A sentence is whispered to the player sitting next to you. The message is repeated to the player sitting next to them. Continueing on -through the whole circle. It's interesting to see how things get all mixed up. They will laugh and be amazed how the story gets all switched. Serves a good message about gossiping. Another version of this game, is everyone is to get paper and a pencil. The first person draws a picture. The next person gets to see it. Just once. Then, they have to reduplicate what they have just seen. The drawing goes throughout the circle, changing every time.
Don't worry. Miss Priss can take care of all that for you. For $1.00 ea., She will provide age and gender appropriate party favor treat bags. Includes 6-8 items. A coloring page, 2 pieces of candy, 1 motion toy, 1 misc, item and some stickers. $1.00 ea. Don't forget the playdough as a take home favor. |
