A Dress Up theme party by Miss Priss Clown Entertainment

DECORATIONS:

This party is fun. It's very pretty and non-ordinary. The table is your focal point. Toulling makes great decorations. It's inexpensive and readily found in a variety of colors at Wallmart. Tie it around your chairs with a bow in the back. Lace tablecloths are nice with flower centerpieces, doilies and pearl balloons. See Princess Barbie Theme party for ideas as well.

REFRESHMENTS:

The Cake-

Why not something like a tiered wedding cake? Only not quite as elaborate. Can't you just see it now with pretty little flowers? Maybe a little tea cup on top? So pretty. Any color, all colors.

Beverages-

Tea of course. Cold or warm. There are so many flavors. Apple cinnamon, respberry, strawberry, It's all good!

Foods-

Sandwhich Butterflies-

Make sandwiches and cut them in half corner to corner. This makes two triangles. Place a pickle wedge in the center for the body.

*Make little cookie-cutter finger sandwiches with the crust cut off. Can't go wrong with peanut butter and jelly.

ACTIVITIES TO CHOOSE FROM WITH MISS PRISS:

Magic Show-

Mystery, magic, silliness and fun. Lots of group participation focusing on the special guest of honor. 20-30min. clown comedy. Theme oriented tea party magic.

Facepainting-

Within the whole facepainting kit there is facepainting, nail polish, makeup and/or tattoos for activities. Lots and lots of full faces and small pics to choose from.

Balloons-

Children and adults alike, enjoy watching and wondering "How in the world did she do that?" Many to choose from.

EXTRA ACTIVITIES TO MAKE OR DO:

Miss Priss Make-Your-Own Refrigerator Hat Magnets Kits-

Decorate some Gloves-

I have seen them at the dollar store. Buy each child a set and let them paint on bracelets or fingernails. Glue on rhinestones and rings.

Vanity Mirrors-

Decorate hand-held vanity mirrors with paint and jewels.

*After the children are sporting their fashion garb, have a little fashion show. Video tape them as they walk the catwalk. Or walk like a cat!

EXTRA GAME IDEAS TO PLAY:

Coin Cup Toss-

Use plastic tea cups that won't break or tip over easily. Attach a prize to the handle. The children take turns tossing coins in the cups placed at variable distances. They recieve the prize attached, if they can get the coins in.

Shoe Scramble-

Place all the shoes in a pile. Divide the children into two teams. The teams stand opposite of each other with the shoes in the middle. Say "Go!" and all the childen scramble to find their shoes, put them on and sit back down. The first team to get all their shoes back on WINS! You don't have to make teams. It can still be played individually.

Word Race-

See who can come up with the most words that begin with the letter T. Or, words that have the letter T in them.

PARTY FAVORS:

For one dollar each and for the sake of convience, Miss Priss can bring favors for you. "Miss Priss Make Your Own Refrigerator Hat Magnets Kits". Actually there are two activities in one bag. A coloring page and the kit to decorate a lttle wicker hat.These can be used as take home favors or as activities during the party. The decorated gloves and vanity mirrors will also serve as your favors.

*Another idea you could try for favors if you want to do it yourself, is small wicker baskets to serve as the loot bags. They are fairly easy to find at second hand stores. Fill them with cookies,hair bows, nail polish, little toy cars, stickers and Barbie Stuff.
